Taking Stock VI: April

Hey guys,

I am so excited to be taking stock this 2nd last day of April because that means my birthday is a few days away (haha you will hear about this a lot on this post). It is said that you cannot manage what you don’t measure. Here I am taking stock and counting my blessings.

Addicted: To being the best I can be in every area of my life.

Buying: Shoes and clothes, I need to treat myself once in a while.

Craving: Pork ribs and Pizza. I don’t think I can ever get enough of these.

Deciding:  What I will do on my birthday, maybe lunch at home with my family. I love cooking so I am deciding on what I will cook then.

Drinking:  Tea.

Eating: omelette

Enjoying: Where I am in life right now.

Feeling: Content. I have become content with where I am in life and I am grateful. This does not mean that I don’t want more, I am happy with where I am right now.

Learning: That not every battle requires to be fought.

Listening:  Graves to Gardens and My Testimony both by Elevation worship, these songs have been such a blessing in my life. Please listen to them below.

Marvelling: At God’s grace and love as always… I keep falling short but He never turns His back on me. 😢 😢 😢

Noticing: How at peace I am. I feel like ever since I let go of somethings in my life I am really at peace. This is a feeling I want to have forever.

Playing: Nothing at the moment.

Proud: Of the woman I have become. As I turn an year older next week (God willing) I can’t help but be proud of the woman I have grown to be.

Pondering: On my next financial moves.

Reading: MegaLiving by Robin Sharma and also the man God has for you by Stephan.

Waiting: For my birthday. Yes I turn a year older next week and despite it being a quarantine birthday, I am grateful. Early birthday gifts are welcome lol.

Watching: Station 19, Chuck (yes the old series), All Rise and Dynasty. What else can you do this time apart from binge watch?

Wishing: I had a million dollars. Don’t we all?

Working: On being very intentional in my relationships and building an empire that will outlive my children. A legacy.

Wondering: When will we get back to normal. I miss travelling.
